Our postpartum doulas understand how uniquely challenging and overwhelming the postpartum days can be.
Your sweet little baby is finally here and you have never felt a love like this before. It is magical, but it is also uniquely difficult. Both parents are trying to recover after an exhausting few days in the hospital while your sweet new baby wakes up every few hours. Mom is sore and recovering while juggling postpartum hormones and learning for feed and care for her new baby. At the same time, dad is working overtime to care for his wife, new baby, and the housework. Both parents are in love with their sweet baby, but feeling utterly exhausted and overwhelmed.

When your doula arrives, she'll start by checking in with you to understand how you’re feeling and assess your immediate needs. She'll provide a listening ear and emotional support, ensuring you feel heard and cared for.
Your doula can assist with newborn care, offering guidance on feeding, soothing techniques, and diapering while answering any questions you might have. She'll also help with light household tasks, such as folding laundry, preparing simple meals, or tidying up, to create a peaceful and stress-free environment.

When your overnight doula arrives, she'll create a restful and supportive environment for you to get the sleep you need.
First, she'll start by checking in with you about how the evening has gone and discussing any preferences for the night ahead. Your doula will care for your baby throughout the night, handling tasks like diaper changes, soothing, and bottle feeding or bringing your baby to you for breastfeeding. She'll monitor your baby’s needs while you rest, ensuring both of you are comfortable and supported. As you and your baby sleep, she will ensure that the bottles and pump parts are washed and do some light tidying up to ensure that you can start the day feeling stress-free.
By morning, you’ll wake up feeling more refreshed, with the peace of mind that your baby has been lovingly cared for through the night.
